The following is adapted from a letter accompanying resume reviews for close friends. Resumes are one of the greatest things the otherwise awful world of job-hunting offers. They are an opportunity to look back on everything one has done and reconsider those experiences through the prism of value, desirability, and potential for others.
The best resumes are honest. They are completely honest not only about facts and dates and figures but more importantly who YOU are and how YOU are and what YOU are and why YOU are. (more…)
