I thought it would be fun to dig into old academic writings for a hopefully-regular look back. In the past, I have to admit that reading old work has usually been, well, embarrassing. But this has been surprisingly fun so far.

My first installment is a short paper from Ag. Leadership 481, a survey course for graduating seniors. I am very proud of this work, particularly the first paragraph. It not only provides a backdrop for the rest of the paper, it really outlines my feelings about the class in a very subtle way. On the whole it is, I feel, true. (more…)
